    efficiency Carbon origination Search our plants Sustainability Our Offer Work with us Investor Relations Governance Media Our plants it en Contacts Home Activities Gas infrastructures ITGI pipeline Activities Power generation Hydrocarbons exploration production Gas storage Gas infrastructures Adriatic LNG Terminal ITGI pipeline IGB pipeline Gas transmission Gas distribution Engineering Trading Energy marketing and sales Energy efficiency Carbon origination Search our plants share 30 July 2015 ITGI pipeline Overview The ITGI Interconnector Turkey Greece Italy System is a multi source import project that will contribute to the European diversification and security of supply by opening the so called Southern Gas Corridor The pipeline is designed to transport approximately 15 billion cubic metres of natural gas a year from Caspian East Med and or Middle East areas to Italy and Europe through Turkey and Greece The route The project comprises the following pipeline sections Turkish grid which will be upgraded in order to enable the transit of gas volumes for Italy and Greece ITG Interconnector Turkey Greece which is in operation since November 2007 and has a transport capacity of about 11 5 billion cubic metres of natural gas a year IGI Interconnector Greece Italy project with a transport capacity of about 12 billion cubic metres of natural gas a year IGI pipeline will be 800 kilometres long and includes IGI Onshore 600 km onshore pipeline in the Greek territory to be developed by Desfa the Greek Transmission System Operator IGI Poseidon 200 km offshore pipeline across the Ionian Sea under development by IGI Poseidon SA a joint venture between Edison and the Greek company Depa A strategic project for Italy and Europe ITGI pipeline is a Project of Common Interest as it was included among the Southern Gas Corridor Projects in the European Economy Recovery Plan with a 100 million Euros

    new functions and products Platform improved with new functions and the creation of a community New sales channels opened Launch of a specific offer on the service sector for the measurement and understanding of the customer s real energy demands verification of their consumption and behavioural waste planning of a carefully focused strategy to increase energy efficiency and disclose the results achieved Started the commercial test and made the first sales Consolidation and further implementation also through corporate integration of CSE of activities providing consultancy support to customers energy audits energy management systems obtaining of energy efficiency certificates The structural process of the corporate merger of CSE into Edison Energy Solutions has been completed new projects for the request for energy efficiency certificates presented energy audits carried out at industrial clients and new offers signed and training days delivered to more than 200 clients on energy audits Consolidation and development of highly efficient self production plants with low environmental impact and process and site initiatives at industrial clients and clients of the service industry Agreements reached with 3 industrial clients for the development of a total of 6 5 MW in high performance cogeneration for self consumption Obtained ESCo Energy Service Company certification for Edison Energy Solutions in compliance with technical standard UNI CEI 11352 in order to offer greater guarantees to clients as regards its competences and capacities In July 2014 Edison Energy Solutions obtained ESCo certification in accordance with standard UNI CEI 11352 Consolidation and development of initiatives to optimise process and site consumptions at industrial clients and the service industry for total savings of approximately 3 4 GWh year Developed and started up a compressed air plant and reached agreements for the development of 2 lighting interventions with industrial clients which should result in estimated total savings of approximately 3 GWh year Start up of a high performance 2 MW trigeneration plant Developed and started up the 2 MW high performance trigeneration plant at the industrial plant of the client Haupt Pharma in Latina Objectives Actions Consolidation and development of highly efficient self production plants with low environmental impact and process and site initiatives at industrial clients and clients of the service industry Start up of the authorisation process for additional high performance cogeneration plants Contracting of additional high performance self production plants at the sites of industrial clients Consolidation and development of initiatives to optimise process and site consumptions at industrial clients and the service industry Consolidation and development of initiatives to optimise process and site consumptions at industrial clients and the service industry Implementation of consultancy support for clients Implementation of consultancy support activities for clients particularly aimed at intercepting the demand for energy audits in accordance with new provisions of law Italian Legislative Decree no 102 214 Consolidation and development of energy efficiency offers in the service sector Creation and marketing of a portfolio of offers and standard energy efficiency services for the SME sector with a particular focus on the service industry Consolidation
