    innovative depuration technologies for the industrial or irrigation use of refluents The labs and the experimental plants allow to make a series of necessary tests to solve problems related to the technical feasibility and to the process conduction to the environmental characterization of waste emission to the establishment of chemical physical characteristics of obtainable fractions to the individuation of possible reutilization and of a potential market for products among which for instance the possible activation of residual carbon to obtain active carbons or the irrigation reutilization of refluents coming from civil depurators Mobile plants of industrial size for emergency interventions and environmental clearance The realization of plants of relevant size on trailer or in container for transportation on road with a high level of assembling allows on one hand the waste and refluents treating where they are located so all the problems related to the transfer are eliminated On the other hand all logistical needs such as the adaptability of the plant to different technologies land conformation and characteristics the reduction of disassembling and reassembling times and the cost reduction are satisfied Areas of intervention and innovative aspects Collaborations and support to external organizations Documents and Reports Il Centro La

    for combustion dehydrogenation hydrogenation and cracking Laser components The research activities of Rare Earths productions are particularly interesting both under a technological point of view complete lack of plants and technologies in Italy shortage of competences in the extraction solvent and under an economic point of view Rare Earths high price because of the sophisticated technologies for the necessary purification dependence from foreign imports of the national transformation industry The pilot plant is supported by an analysis lab for the chemical characterization of minerals coming from rare earths and of products coming from the extraction with solvent The chemical analysis lab is equipped with modern analytical instruments such as ICP MS ICP AES HPIC GC AAS for analysing Hg TOC TIC UV Spectrophotometry Areas of intervention and innovative aspects The specific activities are R D of chemical processes for the separation and purification of metals with high added value demonstration of processes for the technological transfer to the Italian industry of the necessary know how for the production of strategic metals rare earths indium gallium etc with an elevated purity The ongoing research activities give the innovative possibility to treat refluents and industrial waste for the recovery of metals with high added value through hydrometallurgical processes Collaborations and support to external associations There are some contacts with importers and companies in the following sectors glass ceramic catalysers permanent magnets electronic laser components in order to transfer to the Italian industry the know how in nationally relevant sectors such as the advanced management of hydrometallurgical plants Furthermore a partnership agreement with the Baotou Research Institute of Rare Earths Internal Mongolia China main producer of these materials has been signed for the implementation of an innovative research for dividing these products Il Centro La storia La trisaia in cifre Dove siamo Visite
