    consortium meeting has been held from 29 June 4 July 2014 in Podgorica Montenegro The consortium has had the honour to meet the minister of defence of Montenegro attending the opening ceremony of the GEPSUS training centre at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering During the meeting the Israeli partner EMESCO has organized training session on security and the first participants have received a diploma of participation The event has also been the occasion to visit the Military airport of Podgorica where the commander of the air force presented the control centre to be finalized and officially opened in September 2014 There has been a great interest of media for this event Many institutions newspapers TV and radio stations have spread the news about GEPSUS project and importance of its results for the safety and environmental protection of Montenegro The pdf file with media coverage can be downloaded here 2nd Mediterranean Conference on Embedded Computing 15 20 06 2013 The 2nd Mediterranean Conference on Embedded Computing MECO has been organized from 15 20 June 2013 in Budva Montenegro During this conference the GEPSUS project and its results have been presented For more information about 2nd Mediterranean Conference on Embedded Computing click here GEPSUS meeting in Slovenia 25 31 03 2013 GEPSUS partners and the representatives of the Ministry of Defence of Montenegro have met in Slovenia in order to define the activities for the last year of the project The main project activities refer to the opening of GEPSUS training centre at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and GEPSUS centre for simulation at the Military airport Golubovci in Podgorica During their stay they have visited the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Slovenia and its Administration for civil protection and disaster relief as well as training centre of civil protection
